I support North Carolina’s children and their public education. I want the state to comply with our state’s constitutional obligation to provide every child with a sound, basic education. Our children have waited for more than 26 years for lawmakers to provide the necessary funding. With an unreserved budget surplus of more than $9 billion and a strong economic outlook for state revenues, there are no more excuses. Do the right thing for North Carolina’s children and fully fund Leandro NOW. Thank you.
