Two alarming voucher expansion bills work their way through the NCGA

Two disturbing bills HB 32 and SB 671  would expand vouchers and send even more money to unregulated private schools. Private schools are not subject to the same accountability measures, nor are they prevented from discriminating against students. This would be disastrous for our traditional public schools, especially at a time when our students need more help than ever. The Judicial Standards Commission, which handles disciplinary actions against judges will have more members appointed by the legislature. Plenty of court cases affect education! #nced
