NC Superintendent of Public Instruction Forum Streaming LIVE

Candidate Forum for NC Superintendent of Public Instruction.
The NC Parent-Teacher Association, Public Schools First NC, the Public School Forum of North Carolina, and the NC League of Women Voters are pleased to co-sponsor a candidate’s forum for the March primary for NC Superintendent of Public Instruction. This is a livestreaming event- NO TICKETS available to the public.

The 7 candidates for NC Superintendent of Public Instruction have agreed to participate in a candidate’s forum on February 6, 2020.
We will be streaming the forum LIVE (provided by WRAL). You will find the link at wral.com closer to the event. Here are the bios of the candidates: http://publicschoolsfirstnc.org/forums/state-superintendent-of-public-instruction-candidates/

David Crabtree, WRAL anchor/reporter, will moderate the forum. The Republican primary candidates will be presented from 7pm-8pm
and the Democratic primary candidates will be presented from 8pm-9pm.

We look forward to a stimulating exchange of ideas about the issues facing public education and hope you’ll join us.

Sen. Phil Berger said the budget will “put student outcomes and parental choice ahead of bureaucracy.” But it DOESN'T. No meaningful student outcome checks exist, & private schools accept who they want. It is a disaster. #nced
