SROs in WCPSS: A Conversation with The Education Justice Alliance

Join us for a conversation with the leaders of the Education Justice Alliance, Fernando Martinez and Letha Muhammad, about the impact of SROs in WCPSS. They will present their new proposal “Building Peace in Wake County Schools: A Proposal To Replace School Resource Officers With Peacebuilders.” This proposal was developed in partnership with the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, the ACLU of NC, and the Wake County Black Student Coalition. Peacebuilders would be tasked with building positive relationships with students, implement restorative practices, and peacefully address interpersonal conflicts. OPEN to the public but REGISTRATION is required: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/50874812552377360
