When Public Schools Reopen: A Conversation w/Education Leaders @ Public Schools First NC | Raleigh | NC | United States

Join us for a conversation with public education leaders about the reopening of our public schools. What are the challenges and the great opportunities that face our school administrators, educators, parents, and students? How can we prepare now to ensure that all students are able to return to school and be successful?

Panelists are Kris Nordstrom, Senior Policy Analyst with the North Carolina Justice Center’s Education & Law Project, Lindsay Wagoner, Public Schools Forum of NC, and Monika Johnson-Hostler, Wake County Board of Education.

There will be time for Q and A with the audience.

Open to the public but you have to register at this link:

Between 2000 and 2022, the number of unique books challenged increased from 223 to a whopping 2,571. Now, that takes a coordinated effort! There is a devoted anti-public school campaign trying to destroy faith in public schools. Don't let them! #nced #bannedbooksweek
