Summer Education Tour

April 18, 2016 Written by admin

Slider 7 Summer Tour

We are proud to announce that we will spend our summer touring the state with other education leaders, giving our “Connect the Dots” presentation about the status of teachers’ rights and upcoming education legislation. This is the kind of work we do to keep communities involved in their schools not just locally but in the legislature as well. For years we have been providing you the most up-to-date and well researched information we can find, and this summer we want to bring it right to your doorstep. From Asheville to Wilmington, we want the entire state to have the chance to learn about what’s really happening in the legislature and what’s really happening in our schools.

BUT we can’t do this Summer Education Tour without your help! We need to raise $5,000.00 for the take-home materials we hand out at meetings and the gas to get us around the state. We want people to be able to walk out of the presentations and not just have their minds opened but have materials that can remind them what they are fighting for and why. We know that with your help, our Summer Education Tour can make a big impact on North Carolina. If you give $50 dollars right now to help us fill the gas tanks, we will have a successful tour.
